asylum.acornarcade.com

Hello, and welcome to asylum.acornarcade.com! This site is dedicated to two RISC OS games that came out in 1994-5, written by Andy Southgate; which are now freeware. If you're interested in how the site came into being, see this thread - otherwise just go and download some pretty good games and utilities 8)

The clever programming and much of the research for this site was done by Jeffrey Lee, aka phlamethrower. The site design and all the boring stuff was done by John Hoare.

Asylum

Young Sigmund has a few problems. To help him resolve his mental instability you must enter the surreal world of his inner mind and shut down the malfunctioning brain cells which are causing him these problems.

Oddball

Oddball is a bat and ball game, but on a massive scale. Just move the bat and hit the ball around until it destroys all of the green blocks. Then do the same for the rest of the levels. One problem. If the ball falls off the world into the swirling Abyss, you've lost it for good. Lose all of the balls and you've lost a life! Lose all of your lives, and that's it...

Gamesuite

Welcome to GameSuite - a package of modules which are designed to allow programmers to write top quality games with the minimum of effort. The package contains the sort of routines that are common to most games. Sound, sprite plotting, movement, collision checking, animation, etc.
